Prompt
Do you prefer spending free time indoors or outdoors?

Band 9 sample transcript
I’d say I generally prefer spending my free time outdoors, mainly because it helps me reset mentally after being indoors all day. Even something simple, like a half-hour walk around my neighbourhood, makes me feel lighter and more focused, and it stops me from overthinking.
I also enjoy activities that are easier outside, like cycling, taking photos, or just meeting a friend for coffee and sitting somewhere with a bit of sun. It feels more “real” than staying on my phone at home, and I come back with more energy.
That said, I’m not against staying indoors at all. If it’s raining, freezing, or I’m exhausted, I’ll happily stay in and do something quiet like cooking a proper meal, tidying my room, or watching a documentary. But if the weather is decent, I’ll choose outdoors for the fresh air and the change of scenery.
