Band 9 sample transcript

Band 9 sample transcript

I use social media every day, but I try not to be on it constantly. I normally check it briefly in the morning and again in the evening, mainly to keep up with friends, news and a few accounts related to my interests. During work hours, I usually keep notifications off because I find them distracting.

The biggest problem for me is how easy it is to open an app for one message and then realise twenty minutes have disappeared. So I’ve become quite deliberate about unfollowing accounts that add nothing useful and limiting the amount of time I spend scrolling. I like social media as a tool for staying connected, but I don’t want it to fill every spare moment of my day.
